Our next civic league meeting is Tuesday, May 21st, 7:00 pm, in the Shelton Park Elementary School cafeteria (enter behind the school).  Please see the attached map for parking.

We will have a guest speaker, Julia Duzant-Boyette, from the Bayside Recreation Center who will tell us about the various programs and activities they have to offer.  She should be bringing some fitness schedules flyers to hand out as well.  They have a lot to offer at Bayside, whether you are looking for activities for your kids or healthy activities geared toward seniors.

We’ll also ask for your ideas for programs and speakers.  In the past we’ve had the Commonwealth’s Attorney discuss internet scams, a presentation on elder law issues (do you have a will AND revocable trust?), flood insurance, fire safety from the VBFD, and many others.

If you want to get a jump on paying dues for the 2024-2025 year, you may do that Tuesday.  It’s only $10 a year per household and you need to be a member to vote on any issues.

Please park in the rear of the school and access the cafeteria through the double glass doors.
