Please joint your neighbors for the first Civic League Meeting of the fall!
We hope everyone had a great summer, the kids have started school safely, and we can squeeze out a little more good days before Fall falls. We are fortunate once again to have Master Police Officer David Nieves as our guest speaker this month. Dave has been our Neighborhood Watch liaison for many years and always has a lot of timely information—summary of crime in our neighborhood, issues confronting VB residents, and answers to questions. If you came to our National Night Out in August, you may have met him.
Because several people at May’s meeting said Wednesday evenings work better for their schedule than Tuesdays, we’ve moved our general meetings to WEDNESDAY evening with our social time starting around 7pm and our meeting beginning at 7:30.
Remember, WE’RE BACK IN SHELTON ELEMENTARY SCHOOL for our meetings! We’ll meet in the cafeteria. The best place to park and enter is the backside of the school in order to come directly into the cafeteria, particularly if you have any mobility issues. However, if you park in the front parking lot and come in the front door, someone will try to be there to open the door.
Don’t forget—we will meet on WEDNESDAY and not Tuesday.
