Please joint your neighbors for the FIRST Civic League Meeting of 2020!
Can you believe it’s 2020 already! It seems like it was Thanksgiving and two weeks later we were in a new year. We all hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving, Christmas, Hannukka, and New years.
Have you heard that Dominion Energy is going to charge you $10,000 to connect the underground lines to your house? Has someone told you the govment is going to take 15 feet of your frontage property to lay underground power lines? Do you think your rights and liberties are being taken away from you?
Come to the January Lake Shores Civic League meeting and let the Dominion Energy representative separate fact from myth. They’ll explain new easements, existing easements, laying underground powerlines, and what it means for the neighborhood.
Remember, WE’RE MEETING ON WEDNESDAY EVENINGS now in Shelton Elementary School cafeteria. You’ll want to drive along the fence line on this side of Independence Blvd and park on the backside of the school in order to come directly into the cafeteria. Social time begins at 7pm and the meeting starts at 7:30.
Don’t forget—we will meet on WEDNESDAY and not Tuesday.
